- All art work entered shall have affixed to it, in the form of a bid sheet, the following information: 1)Title, 2) Artist, 3) Medium, 4) Minimum bid or Not for Sale (NFS), 5) Immediate purchase price (IPP) (if desired), and 6) professional, semi-professional, or amateur. Please be sure to include Title, and Artist on the back of the piece independent of the bid sheet. This information will also appear on the Control Sheet(s). An NFS Statement of Value form must be filled out in addition to the Control Sheet for any and all NFS items in the show. Each artist will receive a copy of the Control Sheet upon checking out.
- HyperiCon asks that all prints displayed in the show be of limited runs of three hundred (300) or less.
- The entry fee is as follows: $5.00 per 2'x4' panel, $8.00 per 4'x4' panel, $5.00 per half table, and $10.00 per full table. The panels will be arranged in bays with a 4' panel bounded on both ends by 2' panels. Due to space limitations an artist can have a maximum of two (2) bays or the equivalent or one (1) table. Please reserve space early to insure that you receive the space you require. Reservations will be handled on a first come first served basis, fee required with reservations. In case of cancellation, money will be refunded only if your space is resold. No commission will be charged.
- HyperiCon accepts mail-in art in the form of prints only. We will be accepting a limited number of Prints for the Print Table. There will be no entry fee to submit prints to the print area, but a 10% commission will be charged on all sales. Please be sure that any art sent is postmarked seven (7) days prior to the convention. This allows time to check the art work, make sure that nothing is damaged, and make sure that all fees and forms are present and accounted for. In addition to the entry fee, it is required that enough funds be sent to cover return shipping and insurance. Please make this a separate check from the entry fee. This will enable us to simply mail back shipping moneys if all your art sells. Also, all art must be accompanied by an inventory list, to enable us to be sure all the art you meant to send is there. A signed copy of the rules must be sent either in advance or with the art.
Prints placed in the Print Shop area of the art room and will be governed by its rules. Your art will be well cared for, but HyperiCon cannot be held responsible for art lost or damaged in shipping. Please send art in secure packaging as the same package will be used to return any unsold items. Forms can be sent in advance upon request. Please send SASE. Mail art to HyperiCon Art Show, c/o Jamie Herron, 3137 Goodwin Drive, Nashville, TN 37217.
